Offerings are traditionally made on a Buddhist altar each morning. Water is commonly used in this practice of giving - but offering bowls may also be filled with incense - grains - flowers - fruits or anything with good intent. At the end of each day the offerings are removed - the bowls are wiped clean and put aside until the next morning. This set of seven solid brass bowls can also be used for burning incense. Each set includes seven altar bowls in a romblon pine gift box from the Phillipines. Romblon is a sustainable pine found in the Western Pacific that grows in abundance by the seashore. Country of Origin: Tibet (Altar Bowls) and Phillipines (Box). Dimensions: 1 1/4'' h x 2 1/4'' dia. (Box)
