Thyme Leaf

Thymus vulgaris is a perennial belonging to the mint family. Thyme is an aromatic herb that has a subtle minty flavor that can be used as incense, in hot or cold teas, as a condiment, and in stuffing.  Traditionally, thyme was used as a natural remedy to treat respiratory concerns and soothe digestion. Today, thyme is frequently used in cooking and even in mouthwashes due to its refreshing flavor.
